Hi,
I need anti mould paint recommendation please.
Also, I'm thinking to buy a spray paint for temp/small job as current weather is not ideal to paint/repaint the whole room. Google search recommend Polar or Ronseal. Are they any good?
Thanks.

You talk about painting the whole room so this is an indoors location?
Provided the room is adequately heated and ventilated, the weather outside doesn't really matter. I have often painted rooms in winter when the weather outside was frightful.
If the room is not properly heated and ventilated, no anti-mould paint will work. Sort the heating and ventilation first, then clean off all the visible mould and allow to dry before painting.2 -
As above, treat the cause not the symptoms.0

Yes, this is inside the house. I've clean the moldy part of the wall which the corner, close to the window area.0

We combined anti-mould from Ronseal with a new extractor fan in an interior shower room that had reoccurring mould problems in the corners and it sorted it. Not sure which of the two did had the greater impact but was glad to get rid of the black mould.0 -
My bathroom has very little ventilation and no extractor fan. Previous paints on ceiling have have mould over them in a year or 2 at most. The zinsser paint recommended by previous posters has remained mould free for 4 or 5 years so far. I'd recommend too.

I've used Dulux bathroom paint before. Sanded the area down beforehand, then wiped any dust away with a damp cloth and let it dry a bit before painting. Had mould in the corner for years, but it never came back again, that must have been ten years ago now. You could also add a step of wiping the sanded area over with some anti mould spray and letting it fully dry if you want to increase the chance of a good result too.Think first of your goal, then make it happen!0
