I'm really confused. I bought an acer aspire from curry's and on the website it said the box will contain a start up guide but it wasn't in the box. I contacted currys because I want to make sure I'm setting it up right and they are arranging an exchange, only I have to wait 7 days for another computer.
Just all feels really bizarre! Anyone else has this, or did you buy one and it did have the set up guide.
I realise I could probably work it out but I want to make sure I'm doing everything right.

There's usually a wizard type thing that walks you through setting it up on the actual computer.0

or a CD if it's got a cd drive.0

Most stuff will only plug in one connector, you can't exactly get it wrong. You obviously have internet access beyond that computer so the documentation will be online no doubt. Something like this? https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Document/User Manual/User Manual_Acer_1.0_A_A.pdf?acerid=637285788914794552&Step1=DESKTOP&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE TC-895&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=EMEA_27Not quite sure why it takes 7 days to exchange a computer or even why this needs a computer exchange, can't you go back to the store and ask them to print something for you if you really want a guide? I'm sure if somebody pokes around on the Acer website like I've just gone they can print off the key bit, which is how to get it online and plug everything in.1 -
Thank you everyone. I probably can just set it up I'm just worried in case I do something wrong. But I'm also worried that if I return it the new one also won't have a start up guide!
Apparently they need to get it back to the warehouse and scanned before they can send a new one.
Curry's say it should be in the box, it's not on acers website in their manuals.

If you are returning it. Then don't set it up.
Bit of a pain not having use of it. But stops them saying it is now a used PC as it has been set up.Life in the slow lane2
