Nothing has changed for me yet. But seems like some sort of magic has happened, the value of being transfered was updated on the 13th - so I think it is coming soon. No one has called me yet, to update me on the progress, nor the compliant team at the new provider.Section62 said:
My dates are similar to yours. I put in a complaint on Monday and by complete coincidence the transfer went through yesterday. The complaint response did mention how terribly busy they have been, and that transfers are being processed in chronological order to be fair to all customers. So hopefully it won't take much longer for you.Manu08manu said:
On my side it has been escalated, as has taken longer than expected. I have also put in a complaint in.equitydealer said:
Mine are stuck as FNZ (who administer Vanguard UK) are dragging their feet. I’ve escalated with FNZ but have not got any response. My new provider has been chasing and have told me that FNZ are not responding either. I’m assuming they are flooded with transfer out requests.Manu08manu said:How is everyones transfers going? I am still waiting here
For context, application submitted 12/12/2024, response received from Vanguard 04/01/2025 (30 days start here) and since nothing.0 -

Started my transfer to Trading 212 6 weeks ago and still nothing!0

Helpfully Vanguard sent me an email to say my transfer was still progressing and hadn't yet moved. But a few days before I had noticed my holdings had appeared in my ISA with my other provider. Admittedly it did take them another 10 days to transfer the residual cash across.Manu08manu said:

My transfer was proceeding slowly so I pestered both Vanguard and Trading212 one morning and "lo and behold" the transfer went through that afternoon.

I only have a small amount with Vanguard so I'm going to look to transfer out like many people are.I have a Life Strategy portfolio so I'm looking where I can get an in specie transfer to the same fund, with minimum ongoing fees.Has anybody got a suggestion if they are doing exactly the same thing?0

SIPP value of £50,000 or less – £22.50
SIPP value of more than £50,000 – £450 -
It's a while since I looked at iWeb's SIPP charges but I think they charge for inward transfers and also have a bunch of charges relating to the business end of the pension - when you start taking money out. The latter maybe not be an issue if you are planning to transfer it elsewhere before your retire.BigGirlPants said:Section62 said:BigGirlPants said:I only have a small amount with Vanguard so I'm going to look to transfer out like many people are.I have a Life Strategy portfolio so I'm looking where I can get an in specie transfer to the same fund, with minimum ongoing fees.Has anybody got a suggestion if they are doing exactly the same thing?I'm in the same position and went with IWeb, mainly based on what was said about them on this forum. The transfer from Vanguard took a while, but from other's experience that was probably down to Vanguard being busy dealing with other transfers out.Iwebs zero ISA fees are great, I looked at their Sipps fees, they are high though, more than the new Vanguard ones.Quarterly charges
