QDR SOLICITORS - BOSS LIMITED AND SAINSURYS

I received a threatening letter from QDR solicitors stating that I filled my car up with fuel at Sainsburys 130 miles from my house. I could prove this didn't happen as I was in hospital. I telephoned the Sainsburys' garage who had nothing showing on their computer at that time of a driveaway without paying.  I contacted all parties concerned who eventually said it was a mis read.  I am not happy. Despite being vulnerable myself how many people are they scamming and threatening. If I had paid the money who would have benefited from the receipt of the funds. Sainsiburys - who appear to have no knowledge of it, BOSS Ltd who generated a claim, or QDR solicitors who were demanding money with menances.  None of them will provide the photographic evidence as they have said it is a 'mis read' but how can it have been a mis read if there is nothing showing on Sainsbury's garage records.  I am still arguing with them but who is doing the scamming?? Sainsbury, BOSS LTD OR QDR Solicitors.  Martin, you need to look into these scammers who are causing alarm harm and distress.

It was not a scam, just a simple mistake that has been acknowledged.

A far as anyone is aware, Martin does not read the forum.

It will be the numberplate of the car in question that was misread as your numberplate - perhaps C for G, D for O, F for E, H for K, L for C ...... it happens with technology that is not perfect. Time-consuming, frustrating and annoying but they seem to have acknowledged.

Have you received written confirmation that they have discontinued their action against you?

But if Sainsburys has NO record of a driveaway at that time, it cannot have been a misread, or did they misread which supermarket it was at too.
