Lloyds Bank online does not show pending credits or debits.

We recently switched from HSBC to Lloyds, opening a Club Lloyds Account for a nice £200 bonus plus free Disney+.
With HSBC we could see upcoming credits and debits a day or two before they were posted. This gave us time to ensure that they were valid and that there was enough money in the account to cover debits. On a Friday we could see all the pending debits and credits due to be posted on the Monday.
With Club Lloyds Account we do not see them until they are actually posted. We monitor our bank account closely so that is not a huge problem as we normally know everything that should be coming in or going out. We have a £1,000 overdraft facility with the first £50 free of interest so it would take a large debit to cause a problem. We also have a savings account that offers more or less instant money transfers so we can easily cover any unforeseen debit on the same day that it is posted.
There is a 'View Pending Transactions' button but that always shows 'You have no pending debit card transactions or cheques being processed'.
We want to be able to see pending credits and debits, no matter if by debit card, direct debit etc, at least a day before they are posted. We could do that with HSBC.
Is it normal for Lloyds to not show pending or upcoming debits and credits or are we missing something?
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

There's a reason why some banks need to pay you to move to them6

Closest thing on Lloyds is 'view upcoming payments' but the amounts shown are based on the last payment amount.
Woukd say HSBC are fairly unique if they were showing actual upcoming payments, certainly amongst the 'traditional' banks.3 -
Thanks both. It appears that we will have to live with the situation. We have the consolation of £200 and free Disney+.

You can have more than one current account. For example, I have two Club Lloyds accounts (one sole and one joint), as well as HSBC Advance, Halifax Reward (x3), NatWest/RBS Reward (sole and joint), and other current accounts that are necessary for specific savings accounts.

Lacking that kind of thing seems to be very common for the old fashioned banks. Modern banks like Monzo show you all that and loads more.
Its normally better to stick with one bank thst you like for your main banking, and have other accounts that you switch around to get the bonuses.0 -

I wonder if that is why I seen a pending direct debit on my first direct account. I found it odd that it was pending rather than just taken out. I had no idea it was a thing.0
