Faulty Cooler - keep hitting a dead end!

Bought a small cooler fridge back in Jan from eBay and paid via PayPal with an American Express card
About a month ago it just stopped working. Contacted the seller but got no response so had a chat with eBay and then the manufacturer, back to the seller and then eBay again and then American Express!
Seller says they only offer a 3 month warranty, eBay says it's outside of their 90 day promise period and American Express held the charge, spoke to eBay who also said the same, it's outside of their period.
The manufacturer said it's faulty, they offer a 12 month warranty, but the seller needs to make a claim from them and provided a code for the seller, who has said it's nothing to do with them.
Am I just stuck with a faulty fridge?

Hello OP
Assuming someone running a business on eBay (as opposed to an individual selling their unwanted stuff), goods are required to be durable with consideration to price paid, if something fails before it's time there is the right to repair/replacement, if that fails, is impossible, retailer doesn't bother then right to reject for a refund (reduced after 6 months to account for use), these rights are against the retailer.
Manufacturer warranty is in addition to right so if terms require the seller to sort sadly that is such.
Main issue is proof which falls upon yourself after 6 months, has the manufacturer said why it's faulty and given this in writing?
If so you could send a letter before action, including the manufacturer diagnosis, to the seller requesting a repair or replacement or at the very least for them to assist with a manufacturer warranty repair (as it might be easier to get the seller to agree to this as it's less cost for them).
How much was the fridge and what kind of American Express card do you have (debit, credit, charge)? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
Cheers. The fault started after about 9 months. The manufacturer hasn't said why, they just got me to do some troubleshooting
Fridge was £34.49 inc delivery and it's an Amex credit card
The seller isn't a personal account, but can't seem to see a contact address for them?2p off is still 2p off!0 -

There is usually an address at the bottom of the listing under the description (when viewing on desktop), is there a VAT number, might be a seller from China using UK fulfilment? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -

If it is a seller in China, or similar, rather than a traditional UK based business, then there might not be much that can be done sadly. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1
