Royal Mail are unbelievable

I received books of 1st class stamps from Royal Mail for a missing parcel, used the stamps to post another parcel and the recipient got a card from Royal Mail surcharging them £5 because they say the stamps are counterfeit.

 That's awful.I would get the fried to mail the packaging back to you with the stamp and send it to Royal Mail with a complaint

Whilst I am not a fan of 'going to the press' I think in this instance one of the experts in the newspaper who look into stories like this might be interested. RM need to be pressed for an account of how this is happening.

I thought RM had stopped doing this after numbers of false alerts.  Clearly not.

I agree with the posts above.  I think I would make a complaint first to see if that resolves it before going to the papers.
