Euro Park - Admitted to hospital but still fined £100 !

Options
We thought our appeal to Euro Park against a £100 parking fine would be granted without question. My partner has multiple sclerosis. She parked the car to pick up one of the kids so intended to be there for just 10 minutes ( 3 hours are allowed). Unfortunately she had a fall and broke her arm. She was taken to hospital and needed surgery due to the complexity of the fractures. She is still in a cast now, 6 weeks later. We managed to remove her car later but it was past the 3 hour deadline. We supplied the hospital admission note alongside a letter from the hospital to Euro Park on our appeal. The appeal was rejected on the grounds that there were no extenuating circumstances. It seems that Euro Park expected a person with multiple sclerosis and a complex broken arm to remove their car as a priority over being transported to hospital for emergency treatment. What an utterly despicable company.

I don't think the parking was at the hospital.

OP can you confirm where the car was parked as any comments will depend upon where the car was.

I can confirm that the car was parked at a Morrisons car park, not a hospital. Thanks

Complain about the saga to Morrissons head office or CEO and get them to cancel it as a gesture of goodwill, especially if the fall occurred on their property, even more so if their staff were involved and called the ambulance
