PCN from Euro Parking Services

Hi Folks
First post. Please be gentle.
Received a PCN (Invoice) for £60 (£100) from Euro Parking Services for contravention: Parking for patrons whilst on the premises only. For parking outside a closed shop.
I have not contacted the shop owner as suggested on other threads. A google maps search found numerous reviews of other people entrapped by this scam who had found the shop owner to be rude or uninterested when challenged. So it seems pointless.
I have appealed the invoice using an MSE template using the signage clause - it has the wrong shop name, no damage or loss of earnings was caused to the shop what with it being closed and no contract could be entered into again because it was closed. Naturally the appeal has been rejected.
They are now offering me 3 options. Pay up, complain or appeal to IAS. Other threads suggest IAS is a waste of time. I imagine complaining will also be a waste of time.
It isn't lost on me that this is just an invoice dressed up to look like a fine/crime with red ink and bold fonts. The notion of having to "appeal" an invoice is frankly insulting.
What are my options here? Pay up and move on with my life or carry on challenging their scam via the complaint and IAS?
Thanks folks

Sit on your hands, nothing to do
Come back to this thread if or when you receive a Letter of Claim or a court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL in the future
Meanwhile ignore the powerless debt collectors letters1 -

Oh dear why did you do that?

Just ignore them now. Come back if you get a LBC or court claim form.
Tell them if you move house within 6 years.
That's it, if you are sure that you've exhausted the landowner/retailer complaint.
NO PAYING.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks folks. By way of an update, I risked step one and visited the shop. Expected a confrontation as per other peoples experiences but they were fine. The took the pcn off me and said they will get it quoshed/cancelled. No quibble or complaint. It went on the top of the pile of other pcns they had. So hopefully euro parking services will go forth and multiply.

I hope you meant to say that you left a copy of the PCN with the shop and you still have the original PCN.DinDjarin said:Thanks folks. By way of an update, I risked step one and visited the shop.
