Univeral credit lower then tax credits

Options
Hi can anyone help, we just got our first universal credit statement after switching over from working/child tax credits and we are worse off by £306 a month. We applied after getting our Migration Notice so I thought we should have the transition payment protection. I have messaged on the online journal and waiting for a reply. As anyone had this problem before.

Does it mention TP on your statement?  It seems quite often its not sorted for the first payment.

Agree with the above. Sometimes TP isn't calculated in time for the first payment.

This happened to us, they also missed off the carers element. I messaged them through the journal and it was applied within days.

There can also be issues with the Child Element not being included on the first statement.
(That's around £300 per child, depending on when the child was born for a first/only child).
As said above check your UC statement for mention of a Transitional element (which may be zero) and a Child Element.
If either or both is not mentioned at all then query why not on your Journal.

We migrated over to U.C. from CTC and get nothing so you are not protected as the Government likes make you think.
All components in the calculation are corect and included. We lost £334 Per month
