I have some money (around £650) invested with Chip over the last year or so, I have decided I wanted to remove the funds and put elsewhere, I selected sell them and nothing happened for about 7 days, so I messaged them and got this reply today....
If you're referring to your Shareholder Shares, please note that you are currently unable to sell them.

However, there are several potential ways for you to exit your investment in Chip:
1. We may secure investment from a venture capital firm that offers to buy out some or all of the earlier investors.
2. We could be acquired by a larger company.
3. We might go public through an Initial Public Offering (IPO), listing our shares on the stock exchange.
If any of these scenarios occur, you could potentially profit from your investment. Many startups that raised capital through CrowdCube have successfully exited, providing solid returns for their investors. However, please remember that, as with any investment, the value of your shares can fluctuate, and you may not get back the full amount you invested. It's important to understand the risks associated with investing in an early-stage company.
At this stage, we cannot predict exactly which exit will happen, or when or how your investment will be realised. Please be assured that we will keep you updated with any changes in the future.
If you have any further questions or need more information, please let me know.
Surely this isnt right and they cannot do this? I did not sign up to this when I first invested, is there anything I can do?
Thank you
