Disabled Parking Ticket

Options
I recently moved to Devon and despite having a Blue Badge I am currently on my third parking ticket, so £120.00 down. The latest ticket was issued in Bridge Street Retail Car Park in Torbay, a site run by UKPC.
I received a parking Charge of £60.00 for being in the car park for more than two hours, this was  a retail car park so obviously I was doing a bit of retailing. I was parked in a marked disabled space but in an area where there was not a single sign with any notifications that applied to this particular car park.
I wrote to them and sent a copy of my Blue Badge, and I subsequently received another letter from them asking for proof of any transactions at the retail park. I had no receipts but printed off a partial bank statement showing payments that I made to two shops.
I am still awaiting a response from them but I'm hoping that will be the end of it. I only wish I had read some of the threads from this site prior to opening a correspondence with them. However, now I am more aware after reading through the parking threads I am more informed and will act accordingly in future. Many thanks for the help from the site

Plan A is always the best option for you, in this case complain about the PCN to the retail park management company or landowner, especially as a genuine customer, the time limits are there for catching people out

Your blue badge is not the issue there, read the blue badge booklet again, not really relevant on private property, just an indicator of disability, nothing more and doesn't give any privileges , especially not any free parking or Extra time or the typical 3 hours on public roads

The law named Equality Act 2010 is what is relevant here, reasonable adjustments

    You paid two? Why?

Nobody pays private parking charges here.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I also live in Devon, even many of the council run car parks don't give concessions for disabled badge holders, you should never make any assumptions in any car park.
Having said that this car park is typical of most UKPC run car parks where the signage does not conform to the BPA COP, there are no signs at the entrance at all for example even though UKPC will claim there are.
