Santander current account switch offer - DD question

Hi,
I'm thinking of switching (my secondary) current account to Santander to get the £150 switch bonus.
It needs to have 2 DDs set up to qualify. Do they have to have payments happening every month or do less frequent payments count too? I don't want to be caught out by a technicality... My council tax is paid by DD but over 10 months and water over 8 so not sure if they'd still count for the months when no payments are taken.
Thanks!

There's a thread discussing the Santander offer here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6565384/santander-150-switch-offer-04-11-2024/p1
In a nutshell, all that matters for the switch offer is that there are 2x DD mandates set up on your current account at the end of the qualifying period. These do not need to pay out every month, and it doesn't matter the value they pay out for.
Separately, the ongoing cashback on bills is only paid on the amount you actually pay out. An annual DD and a monthly DD in theory pay the same % cashback, subject to the monthly caps on cashback.0
