paymyparkingcharge - globe protection limited - Anything I Should Be Aware Of Before Appealing

I received a parking charge letter today, dated 28th November. The parking event occurred on 25th November, and I only received the letter today, 9th December so it's arrived on the 14th day.

I parked in an open car park where the signage is very confusing:

There are multiple signs still on display with different and conflicting messages.
One of these signs explicitly mentions clamping.
The floor markings are faded, and they also reference "private parking," but they are hard to interpret due to their condition.
I’m NOT intending to pay them anything and will appeal tomorrow using their website and a standard appeal template.

My main question is:

Are there any potential pitfalls, legal aspects, or specific points I should be aware of when submitting my appeal?

Should I ensure I highlight these key factors?

The inconsistent and misleading signage.
The faded floor markings, which add to the uncertainty.
The mention of clamping on one of the signs and how this could affect my argument.
How should I best approach this appeal without admitting liability, especially with these factors in play?

Any insights, advice, or things I might be overlooking would be very much appreciated.

Attached some photos of the signs around the parking area!

Might be a laugh to show those first 2 signs to the non-impartial 'adjudicators' at the joke second appeal stage farce known as the IAS just for the LOLs.

    Google IAS parking Kangaroo court.

Or what I would do is just TOTALLY IGNORE GLOBE.

  • Hi Coupon-mad,

Thanks for the info. I'll just send them the standard template and let them reject it. Then, at the second stage, I will send them the two photos and see what kind of response I get. :) After that, I'll just leave them to send their letters and see if they want to waste some money taking me to court.

That signage is pretty impressive! :-)
  • I was going to do the appeal on paymyparkingcharge.com but it appears you can only submit if you answer the question "I was the driver of the vehicle"   "yes or no"    as it says Driver required when I press save and does not let you submit it.

Is the NTK PCN letter fully compliant with POFA 2012. ?  Yes or no. ?
  • Attached the letter

I have also noticed that they have misspelled the location it should be 'St Matthews' not 'St Mathews

    Seems incompetent. :)

    Don't bother to appeal.

No point fessing up to driving.

They have no right to make that a condition of appeal and the DVLA said so, over a decade ago. A keeper has a right to appeal too but the fact they've blocked you from disputing liability is further evidence of unreasonable conduct. All very useful if ever they sue.

What a complete mess from a bunch of chancers, in addition the PCN says "unauthorised parking" so they offered no contract to park for which they could charge you, in essence it was trespass they cannot bill you for trespass.

I am fighting a case for the same car park whereby I had the authority to park by the business I was visiting. I was parked in bay registered to the business yet I was given a ticket. I want to help the OP out as I have some evidence. I am not sure if OP is active on this forum as I have sent a personal message but I have not had a reply.

Should I put the evidence on here? I do not want scammers to read incase they are active here.
