Octopus Solar Panel Export Plans
I've got solar panels in a house I've just moved in to. I don't know anything about them, but I know they don't have batteries. Which plan of Octopus would be best for me please? I don't have an electric vehicle, but we have a lot of entertainment devices. Octopus offer "Agile Outgoing Octopus", "Outgoing Octopus" & "Smart Export Guarantee SEG". Thank you for any help.

Yes, Outgoing Fixed if you have no means of controlling exports.
If you are paying more than 15p for your imports then use what solar generation you can, whilst it is being generated, but any surplus won't be "going to waste".1 -
Not knowing anything about them is something that should have been resolved before you bought(?) the house because their ownership and installation date could make several £thousand in difference each year.
If they were installed prior to the end of the FIT scheme in 2019 then they should attract a generation payment which would be increasingly generous the older the system.
It's hard to advise without more details. Do you own the house? Was ownership of the solar panels transferred properly? Do you have details of the installation and associated documents?0
