But regardless you get 1 year protection were you will receive the same amount you were on previously unless your UC amount is more
That's not correct. The one year Transitional Protection applies to those migrating from tax credits that have more than £16,000 in capital. For everyone else how long TP lasts will be different for everyone. Some will last longer than others.

I have zero savings and was given transitional protection.
Zero capital doesn't mean there's no entitlement to TP. There's TP entitlement if your UC award is less than your legacy benefits.
Which is a different answer to what you stated above ^^
No it isn't. Please quote where I said that those that didn't have capital over £16,000 wouldn't receive any TP.
     As above
You missed out this part...  as well as misnunderstanding what I said in your quoted part.

I have been migrated from CTC to U.C and get zero. So you are not guaranteed to be at the same income as when on legacy benefits.I had maximum CTC at £77 pw equivalent to £334 pm now after their caculation we are entitled to nothing.

It's possible that not all elements have been added to your award yet, such as a transitional element or child element, but for any meaningful help your going to need to give more information.

State pension 958.53          entitled to   couple 617.60
    carers allowance 354.90                        child    333.33
    IIDB 383.93                                             carer  198.31
savings int. 174.00                                  transitional protection 671.86
Total deductions 1871.36                       total before deductions  1821.10

    therefore we receive NIL award

    When receiving CTC
    CTC 334.66
    carers 354.90
    Retirement  pension 958.53
    IIDB 383.93

Total 2032.02  Now we are without CTC thus 334.66 per month worse off.

So we have our legacy benefit not protected as such unlike what we heard from the Goverment reassurances.
Worse thing was claimed early , well before the three month cut off so lost out on CTC from the time we claimed.

You are still receiving carers allowance outside of UC.
