Barclays app asking to register every time

I’ve got the Barclays banking app on my iPad (only for the mortgages, I don’t bank with Bar lays but do have a current account with them)
I’ve used the app previously many times but recently when I go to it it only lets me ‘Register for the app’ or ‘I’m new to Barclays’, not log back on etc.
any ideas please? The registering process was a bit of a pain, new code sent out in post etc so not a 5 minute thing online.

My Barclays app (on Android) recently did this, re-registering was a bit of a pain but didn't involve a wait on posted codes but did need the use of a card reader (and a card) and an already registered phone number.0
