How do I rotate a photo on the forums please

Not had it happen before but a photo I was posting turned itself sideways.

It appears portrait in my folders. May have been rotated long ago.

Any way I can turn it right way up?

I did a search and looked for right click ideas and the toolbar.

I loaded your photo to Paint, where there's a rotate tool. After rotating it, I saved it and then loaded it to the other thread on MSE.

All photo & graphics programs have a rotate tool. There's also one in Microsoft Picture Edit which seems to be built into my Windows 10, though I don't use it.

You don't even need a separate program, you can rotate pictures in Explorer should you need to:

But it's the right way up in Explorer...............It's the right way up everywhere but when I posted here.

do I have to try rotating right then left and posting to see which would come out her the right way up?
