I often trawl through categories I sell in to see what's around, what other people are selling (In case I can grab a bargain to resell) or just to see what items no longer sell.
A few months back I sold a rather ordinary touristy souvenir thing probably dating from anywhere between 1980 - 2000, it was mass produced and I sold it for less than £10 and described it exactly as it is. It's a resin item incidentally with a faint outline of a sale ticket on base which I could never get off, and I actually had several of them from a shop that I have been slowly selling over the years. My last remaining one had damage to one area which I fully described and which is fully visible in photos.
I've just seen that same item, my buyer is now selling it as a rare 18th C antique, the material is misdescribed, the provenance is fake and despite the photos put up by the seller (at least they took new photos) showing damage to one area, this is being sold as immaculate for its age. She currently has it priced at a bargain £150.
EDIT, currently checking out the rest of their items for sale, there is a smattering of genuine vintage items , well overpriced, a bit of Far East tat being sold as vintage mid century and quite a lot of items which I suspect are not at all what they purport to be. Admittedly they don't sell a lot and their feedback isn't excessively bad at 97.8% with mention of china being sent bubble wrapped in a bag, not boxed and seller not wanting to refund.

You always get them everywhere.
Like the plate I picked up at a Car Boot Sale, as the seller was telling me it was an antique I could see Microwave and Dishwasher safe on the base.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.2 -
I'm selling some coins that are well over 2,000 years old.
I know they are that old as they have a BC date on them.
Any takers?A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".4 -
