Where can I get HEAVY Duty mailing bags

Options
I usually just buy the 'normal' grey mailing bags, which seem to do for the majority of items.

Occasionally though, perhaps if I sell a game or boxed item, I wrap it in bubblewrap, then wrap it again in a used heavy-duty bag, opened up, perhaps after my wife has bought something on line. Those bags always seem very strong indeed.

Looking on ebay, their version of heavy-duty is just the normal looking bags.

If my wife buys a new coat, that bag is great, but this isn't the most economical approach

I find rubble bags cut up are pretty good but not every postal company with accept black plastic so be careful if you use them.

The problem is they don’t self seal, the decent postage bags are usually self sealing and you can only get into them by ripping them.

I did get some heavy duty bags from eBay, I checked on line for the thickness I needed and spent quite a while trawling the sellers to find those that actually stated the plastic thickness before I bought. They weren’t even very expensive as I bought in bulk. I haven’t needed any for ages so haven’t got a current seller to suggest, but check out sellers who not only give dimensions of bags, but also the thickness of material.
