RAC - cancel policy and credit card charges

Beware of RAC, on renewal, if you haven't updated RAC with your new credit card details (maybe moved bank, lost or stolen card etc) and RAC try and use yiur old card fr a rebewal, and it is declined, they will immediately charge you £20
Also, if you call, they say you can cancel your policy on the web site, but you cannot, and agents can't advise you on how to do it either

They should be using the card updater service so for stolen and lost cards it wouldn't be a problem.
