It looks like Tescos has outsourced their eGift cards (? Blackhawk Networks?)
Please Avoid even though this uses the Tesco's logo

1) Purchased a £20 eGift card - sending to my daughters email address
2) She has 'not' received it' - and has checked junk folders etc

3) Tesco Gift cards - only has a 'web form' for contacting them
4) When you raise a web form request you do not get acknowledgement that your request has gone through - No email 'back' and no ticket number
5) There is no phone number
6) Tesco's themselves will not help

7) Currently '£20' is in limbo and after 2 days - no response back from Tesco Gift Cards

Please Avoid:
I'll update this as I get more information

  • I am in the same situation £56 showing on my bank statement for black hawk but no gift card and Tesco can’t locate it, it’s on to the 3rd week and I’m trying to resolve it on what’s app chat with them.
did you get sorted with yours?
  • Chargeback with card provider for non-receipt might be feasible if no voucher after 15 days for VISA or 30 for Mastercard, best to speak with the bank for clarification.

  • Apparently, Gift Cards are retails most profitable line. This is because at least 20% of them are NEVER redeemed.

Tesco eGift cards are a pain in the neck anyway.  I once ordered one by mistake instead of a real gift card.

    Using a real gift card:
Find the bit of cardboard with a barcode on the back in your wallet or purse.
Scan the barcode at a self-service till, or hand the card over if its a staffed one.

    Using an eGift card:
You have to install the thing in Google Wallet.
To pay, you have to get the phone out.
    Wake the phone up.
Enter your pin to unlock it.
Find the Google Wallet app, and open it.
Scroll down to find the Tesco eGift card.
You now have the bar code to use.

    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
