The First Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds
in fields as they lay;
In fields as they lay, keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.† + ☆ * ☆ ☆ * ☆ + †
Morning! Chilly but not windy like last night, I thought the remains of the gazebo were going to take off...Docs appointment this morning for abnormal blood results but hey ho, something somewhere is always abnormal. Was going to go to Costco but we decided against due to the weather, the wind is suposed to be picking up again later and I don't fancy being blown all over the motorway. Which means another lazy ish day, we'll see what happens after the doc. I've got some chick peas soaking to cook for the freezer and to make a soup with them, maybe I'll go to the allotment for a bit more clearing...Not that I'm obssessed or anything [maybe I am]Scarlet, hope things go well for your DH. dp1, hope the little one improves today so she can go to some of the Christmas stuff...SO, well done for keeping on...Carol, if it's the GC I'm thinking of, parking might be a nightmare, if ts the one that puts on the Christmas shows. I went last year with a friend, there were animatronic everything there, deers, hedgehogs, badgers, and they'd pretty much given over all the plant stuff to Christmas baubles and decorations. There is a shop in Lacock that sells great ice cream though if you fancy itAllie, I'm liking your pie too...I love a one pan wonder. TA, you could just rest? WL, I just googled that, it's not too far away from me and looks interesting, have a great evening! Rosy, good to hear he's doing well, and I'm just carrying on tru's tradition [ in the hopes she'll be back to do it!] Take care all today, hope the weather is not too pants...

Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons - I hope DH’s appointment goes well 🤞🏻I’ve been for a run - chilly but dry. Some tree debris to run around/leap over, quickstep-style down the lane. Our gate stay broke last night so will add that to DH’s list. Today he is lifting the drain covers as one loo isn’t flushing well (sorry if TMI). He’s been putting it off all week but todays the day!! I will be making soup and trimming up the house - definitely the better deal lol!
We are out this evening for dinner and drinks back in our old town. I will be designated driver and will try to get back before Darragh makes an appearance.One thing I will say for this house is the bird activity is amazing. We back onto woods and DH saw a buzzard flying over yesterday. This morning - collared dove, robins, jays, blackbirds, blue and great t!ts - so cute to watch.
SIL is still not awake. She’s very poorly with an issue with her blood along with everything else to contend with. Hope to hear more news later.Hope little one is okay @dp1 x
Take care @TravellingAbuela and @-taff and anyone else who’s under the weather xx

Morning allBrrr chilly out there this morning, back from shopping and the wind is getting up and it could get a bit worse later in the day so batten down the hatches.Well we had a lovely day yesterday, cable car was good, such views. Had a lovely birthday eve meal with family and then went and saw Peter Kay who was hilarious as expected. He's lost alot of weight so it didn't look like him at first but got over that as soon as he started his hilarious standup. Definitely go if you're a fan, and wait for the ending!!! (he told us to not tell anyone so as not to spoil the surprise).Hope little one is on the mend DP1Have a good day all x8

Morning everyone just I don’t know where today has gone I’ve been and got some shopping done my volunteering at the food waste been to the pet shop to get her ladyship some treats bumped into a couple of friends I haven’t seen for a while and had a natter not like me made a pan of mince and onion and some pastry I’m making pies later and made soup for lunch I’ve beat you to it Gers and yes Lidl did sort my app out they got back in touch yesterday morning and they had to do a bit of fiddling at there end then I had to delete it and set it back up a and all was good they made sure all my coupons where on and my freebies so I’m happy I do a fair amount of my shopping there so I don’t always hit the targets but always get a couple of freebies a month so that made me happy. I expected to wake up to a horrible day but it’s been bright and chilly after a wild night but it’s all set to change we will hunker down over the weekend. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing7
