Linking Plum app and Chase account

Hi. I am creating a Plum account to use for a DD in a bank switch. It needs to be linked with a bank account, however my donor account's bank (Metro) is not listed. The plan B was to create a secondary empty Chase current account and link that. Howerver, when I am trying to link it, it pops up the actual Chase banking app.
I do not want to link the entire Chase app and I am not sure what the next steps are. Has anyone done that before? What is going to happen if I link -> open -> log into the Chase app from within the Plum app?
Will I be able to then select my secondary current account? Or will it link it all?
Thanks!

Plum links to your account through open banking, and then sets up a DD on the specific account you select. You can link multiple current accounts, but only one can be your "main" account with them, and that is the one they use to set up the DD.The process is as you describe - you open a Plum account and then link it to your current account by authorising open banking through the Chase app. You should get an option to only share data for the account you select, rather than all of them. Even then, you can cancel the open banking link after the DD is set up without issue if you no longer wish to share your data with them, and the DD will remain unaffected.1
