Rent increase same address legacy benefits / change to UC ?

Options
I am still on legacy benefits. Mixed ESA and HB. I have a rent increase, at the same address will this need a change to UC ?
Or just send information to HB as normal. Although we will not get anymore HB as we have to pay a top up as in private rental and over the LHA
I want to wait for the migration letter if possible as we will be better off
Thanks

A rent increase will not mean a change to UC.
Just report it to Housing Benefit as normal.
I'm not sure what your last sentence means though? Are you saying that you believe you would be better off on UC?

EDIT- I see that you have asked this twice, I have requested that the threads be merged together.

From memory of their previous long thread about partner reaching pension age, they're vastly better off on legacy benefits.

No, sorry I meant I want to wait till I get a migration letter as we are better off on legacy benefits and as my partner is of SP age / we both have Disability Benefits DLA /PIP and so we have premiums added.

(It came out twice accidently, I went offline and thought it hadn't gone through)

Yes, we are vastly better off on legacy benefits as you stated correctly. Thanks to poppy and a few others including yourself who gave a lot of advice earlier in the year
