When I was picking up my car I had the balance in my account - trade in approx 15k, car cost about £36k, went straight through on Google wallet, but paying the road tax (AGGHHHHH £600) had to pass authentification because I typed in card numbers. I mentioned to the dealer how it was strange £20k plus was ok, but £600 needed authorising and he said people had paid entire price of a brand new car on Google / Apple pay up to about £50k and it goes straight through. Incredible to those of us who remember retail floor limits being £50
