What about a SAR to VM?  If they ignore that, at least you could report them to the ICO

Subject Access Request.  A formal request for all the information they hold on you.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

Good idea!  Would this include the calls and emails record that I imagine they'd hold?

Also, who would I report them to when they choose to ignore my request?

    Thanks

It depends what you ask for... you can ask for absolutely everything which is always more difficult and time consuming or you can be more targeted in your request which inevitably makes life easier for everyone.

The Information Commissioners Office oversees data protection which the SAR request falls within.
