Photos have Wrong Address on Android Phone

I have a Samsung A15 Android phone and for some reason it has started to put my next door neighbours address on my photos, 12 instead of 10, I must have stood too near to the dividing wall of my semi when taking a picture.

I can find the details of the pictures and can change everything except the address, it doesn't give that option.

When I check my address in Google maps it has my correct address stored for home.

How do I get all the photos taken in my home to have the correct house number?

  • Don't think that the data is amendable. What gets stored is the latitude/longitude (and altitude) readings from the phone's GPS at the moment the image is captured. Since this is accurate to within 5m, when this data is "looked up" by Google there's a good chance it's going to find next-door's living room.

You can add additional location (and much else) data to your photo, Google "edit photo metadata" for some suggestions.
