I don't think you can use gift voucher cards at any store (including M & S and John Lewis) for on line and telephone orders.

I bought a lovely coat in Harrods sale last year - it was current season and marked down to half price.
I also buy their half price playing cards in the sale - they make good presents for my bridge-playing friends.

I found the sales assistants very friendly - not at all snobby - which made shopping there very pleasurable. I also had a delicious lunch in the Dress Circle Restaurant for about £6 which included coffee so no way could it have been £11 there.
    Born to shop;)

    qualify or clarify?

ok well i will clarify what i meant

i went in there today, see my new years day parade thread, It was nothing more than a over priced jumble sale with snobby people bashing and shoving anyone and everyone who came in there way.
i have had better experiences shopping in my local morrisons just before closing time
It's a bit unfair to judge any store on an experience of it during the post Christmas sale.

Well I remain surprised that anyone who knows the price of milk shops at Harrods. The last time we were there, about four years ago, the prices did seem more reasonable for quality. We also bought a heavily reduced cashmere coat, but won't be returning any time soon. By the way, the price of a hot chocolate was £3.25 just over two years ago. If my house went up as much I would be laughting all the way to the bank. Nice sales assistants though
