PCN Blue badge holder

Hello everyone, I recently received three PCNs! through the post from an ANPR car park. I parked in a normal bay with the blue badge visible each time as I literally didn’t know any better that I had to pay. Three £60 PCNs from a car park that charges £2.40 an hour and after checking I only overstayed by 20 minutes over the grace period each time. I appealed them but they declined stating that blue badges still have to pay even when visiting businesses on the premises. Is there anyway around these fines as they must surely know I knew no better as I have three in the space of a month. Do you think they would be willing to let me pay a reduced rate? What’s my best option here to get back at these vultures?

They are not fines, they are Parking Charge Notices, PCNs..
The signs on site would have said that blue badge holders are not exempt on that pay to park car park, meaning that the driver reads the signs and pays, or departs promptly. They are correct in their replies above
Name the parking company and location or nation
The blue badge has little or no power on private property, so please study the blue booklet that came with it , the driver should ALWAYS read the signage and comply, otherwise its going to get very very expensive for their wallet
Its the Equality Act 2010 , that applies, so follow plan A, complain about them to the Landowner and get them all cancelled ASAP under reasonable adjustments

Don't offer money.
You won't be paying but you really must read signs in car parks. Preferably AVOID private car parks completely. You can park on (otherwise unmarked) double yellow lines on-street with your Badge, for 3 hours.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I believe that you actually mean an NCP car park in Manchester , I doubt that NPC have any car parks up here
Its nothing to do with the councils, its everything to do with the government who have been trying to regulate the industry for over 7 years, with a law passed 5 years ago and currently being dealt with by the current MHCLG
Petitions won't change anything at all, the actual law was passed and on the statute books in early 2019, still not implemented yet
So regulation via the government and a new law, nothing to do with any of the councils, just MP,s and the private parking industry
Not reading the signs and the blue badge booklet got you this far
( I don't want to be unkind in my remarks, but I am a fellow blue badge holder and also have a qualifying illness under the Equality Act 2010 law, but I have definitely learned a lot in the last 12 years, one of which is to read everything, especially booklets and signs, all driver's should be studying the signs carefully. ). Nor will it be until such time as you were to lose a court case against you and then you still fail to pay what the court orders.
Your 'next best option' is to wait and see if NPC actually do raise a court claim.
Whilst waiting, you could always 'encourage' your MP to intervene.2 -
