Returning on line purchases

Result!!! After numerous emails they have finally given in and accepted that their T&C’s cannot override the law on online purchases (as the product was not perishable, personalised or shrink wrapped etc.) They have agreed to reimburse the money to us, it pays to be persistent. My only worry is that how many other people are they fobbing off with this. Thanks for everyone’s help, will definitely be using this forum again with any monetary questions or queries.

You could help others avoid being fobbed off if you named the retailer

Good to hear OP, sadly enforcement on these things is lacking, best to check the terms beforehand and avoid buying if they don't meet the requirements, which might be hard to do in some cases....
