Electoral roll query

Good evening, 

In August, I applied to go on the electoral roll at my new property. 

I was under the impression that it took 6 to 8 weeks for credit reference companies to be informed. 

None of them have. 

I spoke to the council involved and they said I was registered. 

Today they provided me with a letter confirming my registration to give to credit reference agencies. 

On the letter I noticed that the Date Registered is given as 1/12/24. Does this mean that I've just been registered formally and so the 6-8 weeks starts now or does it show that date because I've requested the proof and I still need to send it to the credit reference agencies?

I don't think anyone on here could answer that, even if they knew which council it was, so you could ask the council if you really want to know, or you could just forward the letter to the credit agencies anyway?
