Started but didn't finish 0% Credit Card Application - MBNA

Morning all, I started an MBNA credit card application yesterday evening and frankly, towards the end I found I couldn't concentrate on it - it was asking for balance transfer details etc and I didn't have it to hand and my children were being children and I digress, I saw there was an option to basically come back to the application at a later date.

But now I can't find any details of my 'open' application anywhere. I wondered if I would get an email saying 'you haven't finished your application' but nothing.  I'm assuming it's going to be a call to customer services to try and sort?

(I know that's the most logical thing to do but I'm at work and would rather not call if I don't have to!)

MBNA: Jan 2025 =£10,413.25, Feb 2026 =£0
HSBC Loan: Jan 2025 £15,156.57, Feb 2026 =£8,982.25

Total: Jan 2025= £27,688.27, March 2026 = £7,982.25

I'd call them to see if they can pick up the application. I appreciate that's not what you want to hear but it's possibly the only way if you can't find an email from them.
  • I suspected that would be the case!  Many thanks for your response.

  • Just to conclude this thread - I called MBNA and they were extremely helpful.  They located my half completed application and 'deleted' it for me - advised me to wait an hour or so and then redo it.  I redid it this morning and have been successful in getting a much needed 0% card so I can transfer my current credit card balance onto it and avoid a lot of interest!
