Help 2 Save 2nd bonus will not be paid

Options
Has anyone else had this problem? 1st payment was fine, paid in max amount £50 each month, 2nd bonus due and it says

"To get a final bonus, you had to pay in enough money so your highest balance between 1 December 2022 and 30 November 2024 was more than £2400.

In the time left you won’t be able to grow your savings so they are more than £2400. This was your highest balance between 1 December 2020 and 30 November 2022.

This is because you only have 0 months left and can only pay in £0 per month"

The payment that took it to 2400 went in on 1/12/24 becuase they take the paymants on the 1st of the month. It also doesnt say anywhere that you only get the payment if you go over £2400 it says you should get half of what has been paid in regardless of the amount. I never mnissed a payment which means it was impossible!

Thanks.

My understanding of the 2nd bonus (only just had my first) was as you've said, its 50% of what you put in for the 3rd and 4th years.

You get 48 months at a maximum of £50 a shot so you CAN'T have more than £2400.

    Very odd.

That message must be wrong - how could you have had £2400 in the account during the first two years, when the maximum deposit was £50/month?

It’s the total over 4 years, but still impossible
  • I'm in exactly the same position!! A week ago it said my final bonus would be paid on the £2400 but when I checked it this morning it had that exact message. I'm counting on the bonus for Christmas presents! Have you contacted them?
  • I've just rang them, they said that it's just the way the system processes it and we should get the payment on between Thursday and next week - fingers crossed!

I was referring specifically to this statement that £2400 was achieved in the first two years:

but the above post would seem to confirm that the message is misleading and that the relevant bonus will be paid....
