Litfad Company?

Don't  know if this is the correct section but here goes.

I am looking for info on the company "Litfad". 

 I have seen a desk that I would like to buy but am wary of the company. Put it in Google and it wasn't  good reviews and some saying it was a scam company. I was originally looking if it was a British Company as I didn't  want to be stung for import fees/duty etc.

Has anyone had dealings with this company and can give some insight?

Their About Us page tells you they are based in China

They take 10 days to "process" your order and 15 days for expedited delivery and 45 days for regular delivery. It's clearly coming from overseas. They state they "take care of" the import duties for you but that can mean a variety of things.

On the plus side they are better than many in that they show the legal jurisdiction as Hong Kong rather than the normal spurious "UK" or "USA" which arent legal jurisdictions.

Every single item is over 50% discount so its going to be a scam in some sense, at a minimum its the retail price is a lie and you should consider the quality to be at (or below) the price your actually paying, or they are going to be like a real scam company and never send or send some poor quality item which will cost you far too much to ship back to China to be worth it.

Unfortunately I was careless enough to buy from this company. The order was placed in December 2024 and we are now in mid March 2025 and I am still waiting. The communication with them, although frequent, is very poor and the information they provide is useless. They keep telling me that my order is on its way and asking me to be patient, without providing any accurate tracking information or ETA. I spent a lot of money buying two chairs and not confident that I will receive them. NEVER advise anyone to buy anything from them.
I should have done my homework better, as I don't normally by goods direct from China.
