How to Stop Amazon Searches Appearing on Wife's Tablet?

My wife has a Samsung tablet that also has my Amazon account on it as she uses it to buy e-books from Amazon Kindle to read on the Kindle app on the tablet.
This has the unfortunate effect that anything I search for on Amazon on my tablet or computer appears on her tablet.
Just now she shouted up to me, I don't like these earrings you are looking at. OOPS
How can I stop this or should I just look on eBay?

I have a similar problem but it's more my issue when I look on my amazon account on the bus and all the "recent searches" are pictures of underwear or bikinis that she's been searching for. Makes me feel that people will think I'm 12 still.
To answer my own question, she changed her phone number and forgot her password for her Amazon account.2 -
Why is she using your account rather than her own?
Because she doesn't have an account, she never has had one and doesn't want one.

If she were to have an account she'd have her own history etc and if you subscribe to Prime you can add her as family and she benefits from Prime without the need of an additional subscription.3 -
You can go to: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/history
Clear gear in top right corner and select more settings to turn off/on browsing history.
Alternatively you pause browsing history (e.g. during Christmas) or you can remove certain items.
Reason I know this is because we (as a company) sell to Amazon, with many users across the business logging in to access the back-end to check things like inventory/advertising/etc. The problem is if a member of staff decides to do some personal shopping on Amazon (but forgets they are signed in as the business), they could inadvertently start adding things like underwear sets to the browsing history which could cause a lot of embarrassment (ask the girl who works in our Customer Service team!).
