Motability Car Claim

Hi guys
We have a motability car for my daughter and I am her appointee.
My wife is named on the insurance and unfortunately had an accident in the car.
My question is do I have to declare this as a claim against me when I renew my work car's insurance?
The motability cars insurance names Motability operrations ltd as the policyholder and me as the hirer.
Thanks

It needs to be declared on all policies in which your wife is named. If she's entitled to drive the works vehicle then it should be declared. If she isn't then it isn't0

She doesn't drive the work vehicle but could her accident not be regarded as a claim on my policy?0

Your not the policyholder.
Ultimately, if you're concerned then raise the matter with the insurer in question. Presumably if its a works vehicle your not paying the premiums so it doesn't matter too much.0 -
I have raised the issue but cant get a satisfactory answer.
I am self employed so pay the insurance on my work car myself l.0 -
I would imagine the motability policy is not in your name and you were not in control of the car
unless your wife is on the work policy. Would not need to be disclosed0
