I'm in the market for a new laptop and looked at this one I am quite interested but wanted to get some opinion from experts. I need it to replace my home PC (For space reasons) I and the family use a computer for surfing downloading video and general word stuff etc. The kids use it mostly for Cbeebies site etc so graphics are not too important but speed is. I would be very grateful for any and all advice. This is about the price range I'm looking for or maybe up to £500.
Many thanks

video and downloading is best with a 17" laptop, they usually have 2 disk bays so the disk io is much lower and you can keep more stuff in them.
dell vostro 1700's get a good rep i hear, though the tosh will have better build quality.0
