Glad it’s not only me, my lloyds is working fine for notifications just not my halifaxsurreysaver said:Not only Halifax, but Bank of Scotland and Lloyds I am not receiving notifications either. So obviously something's going on in the background0 -
A bit off topic but I receive regular emails from Halifax offering balance transfer deals for my credit card with them. I always click on the button to report that I'm not happy to receive the email and still they come. I cannot see how to turn off this annoying marketing - perhaps it is in the t&c that I have to ensure the clutter. I've tried using the virtual assistant but there is no response.
Any ideas of whether it is possible to get them to stop sending unwanted marketing emails?0 -
Just noticed, on top of a lack of notifications, my app (and online banking) are also failing to show all forthcoming payments.
Which is annoying, as I keep the account at £0, and have a £1.5k overdraft which I rely on to allow standing orders and direct debits to leave the account, and top it up from savings on the day payments leave the account.
Not being able to check forthcoming payments means I cannot tell whether I need to top the account up by a hundred or two pounds the day before. I cannot also tell whether new standing orders that I know I set up, have actually been set up!I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
Change your Marketing Choices. In the app it's on the settings menu, under Profile and Settings.Any ideas of whether it is possible to get them to stop sending unwanted marketing emails?0 -
Yes - I've had that set for no marketing for years.EarthBoy said:

However I still get offers on a monthly basis - about transferring balances from other cards to my Halifax Clarity, that kind of thing. Apparently they don't count that as "marketing" because it is about offering something relating to a product I already hold.1 -
Although I still don't have any issues with notifications (apart from the fact they're often not timely) I have also noticed today that just one of my regular payments has an issue, despite paying out that DD for the same amount since August 2024, the app shows it as an irregular payment with no value, and I'm sure earlier it said that would be updated "once a few payments have been made", though I see no such wording now.surreysaver said:Just noticed, on top of a lack of notifications, my app (and online banking) are also failing to show all forthcoming payments.0
