downloaded it and ran it twice...picked up 38 infections
STILL keep getting the warning everytime open up a new IE7 window

it looks like it still hasnt got rid of it

what are my options if any?

mercman - try a couple of the on-line scanners, like trend micro, avast (i think), etc., google on-line virus scans and try a couple of them.

Or, google the results you're getting from the current scans and see if there's a specific removal tool available for your infections.

Long-winded I know, but worth it in the end...

These two are very good and will remove stuff - use interent Explorer or FF with IEView

Hi all,

Have ran everything on here and it would seem at last something has got it! as no longer getting the warning windows upon opening IE7

Only problem is have just done another HJT and the file dmserverq.dll is still showing - does this mean machine is still infected?

What did virus total say when you uploaded the file - it may not be anything to worry about

All that happened with virus total was the screen refreshed stating that 0 bytes had been transferred?

I assumed the infection was preventing it from going through??

Just tried it again and still shows the same message in a new window when trying to send the file??
