Windscreen crack - is this an MOT failure?

Hey guys, just after some advice as to whether I need to get the windscreen replaced before my MOT or not? You can't feel the crack when touching it from either side and the crack is on the far left (passenger side) of the windscreen.

Would this count as an MOT failure? Thanks for any help!

how long is the crack - I presume it's on the passenger side?

if so and it's more than 40mm then yes it will fail

is the part of crack in the swept area more than 40mm long?
looks probably a fail to me… but hard to check from that photo, and I’m not sure about cracks that cross the swept area (swept basically = cleared by wipers)

Doesn't that depend where you're looking? Driving requires you to look other than straight ahead.

If there is windscreen damage of 40mm or more in size, anywhere on the windscreen, your vehicle will fail its MOT. And the crack will need to be fixed before being re-tested.

It's definitely more than 4cm and the whole thing is covered when I use my wipers. That sucks!

No, it's rubbish.  It may have been right in the dim and distant.
