hi, years go this site was very helpful in getting me a really good refurb ex-business laptop with did me great servioce but its time to replace.
I'd like to do the same again but the place i bought from then, MSCcom, appears to have disappeared.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for sites?

For anyone considering second-hand refurbed laptop this weekend, it is worth checking the prices for used against new prices under "black Friday deals".
I saw a laptop in the local PC refurb store at £295. Pretty much the same specification is available at the Dell website at £350. If the budget will stretch, and for that small delta in cost, a new machine would seem to win out.
Of course, the potential for a financial gain is greater if going for a higher end laptop.2 -
Dell outlet has savings vs new for virtually new or fairly new 'refurbs' fully certified by Dell.Do compare prices though....1

There is a huge market in refurbed Lenovo laptops - generally ex corporate ones that have been replaced for no reason other than they're a couple of years old.
Search on ebay for 'lenovo laptop refurb' and only use sellers with big feedback scores (10000+).1 -
