Know I'm going to be called every name under the sun but don't you think that people who work in shops deserve a day off as well? This may come as a surprise but some of them have families and a life outside of their work. I love a bargin as much as the next person but as a matter of principal refuse to shop on New Years Day or Boxing day for that matter. Dont suppose many will agree with me and will insist that those who work are "volunteers" but in the real world it's more a case of work it or look for other employment.
    anyway having had my winge

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL:beer:

It's just another normal day to me. Although I have a family and life outside work, if I worked in a shop I'd be jumping at the chance to get paid double or triple time! For those who want the day off, I have no objections to them getting it.

I can see your point though.
