HI Ya
I have a new mirror that has an inbuilt light wired to the mains via a fused switch box.
It was installed along with my new bathroom installation.
Should i have a certificate like you get when the gas boiler is worked on?
Is there a body i can contact similar to Gas Safe?

Thanks

You should probably get a Minor Works Certificate for a new light in a bathroom.
There are several registration schemes for electricians, rather than one for gas.  But there's no requirement for an electrician to belong to one of them (unlike Gas Safe).  If they aren't registered then it's up to you to contact your council's Building Control department, and get the work signed off at your expense.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
