Am I better off on universal credit than working?
textbook

I'm still on the transitional protection part of universal credit and just got a payment from dwp for £700, £116 in oct and £274 Sep. My self employed expenses were massive last month (minus £500) so probably the reason got £700 so not normal and no paye job which I've had as well earlier in year.
Am deciding whether to take another PAYE job 37 hrs and £12 per hr to subsidise my self employment, but is it worth it? At least while transitional protection is going?
Will affect childcare a bit too and gonna make things stressful getting my kid to school earlier. 8am start job..

You should be better off as you only lose a percentage of the extra amount you earn.2
