Next Reward Days Fixed 12m v2

Hi

Anyone signed up to this tariff know if you can switch to another eon tariff without incurring the exit fees. On my quote it says two different things. On the summary 'if you switch supplier' and in the tncs 'if you end before the 12 months'. I've emailed them but thought I'd also ask here.

Cheers

    Hi @sheffieldeagle ... yes me  :)

This E.ON Next confusion seems to have started about three weeks ago. The good news is that it is only on the quotations page, the main page shows exit fees apply when you change supplier and when you drill down to 'see the full tariff information' it shows exit fees apply if you cancel before the tariff end date. This is seen for several tariffs.

There are one or two threads about this in the E.ON Next Community Forum (search on 'exit fees'); the senior forum members and E.ON reps say that exit fees only apply when you switch to another supplier early and that the wording is badly expressed in the extra information. MSE Energy Club at the moment are quoting this 'wrong' information.

The bad news is that people (including me) are being charged the exit fee, automatically and without warning, but a quick phone call should remove this.

Let me snip the relevant info from the welcome e-mail and from the T&Cs.

T&Cs para 11.2 (applies to all tariffs since August 16th)
