Can you regain 100% feedback?

                    Hi
Just wondering if it's possible to get 100% feedback after having a neg given by mistake?
Basically a few years ago when I hadn't long been trading on ebay, a girl left a negative feedback by mistake, she thought she was leaving a neg on her part since she wanted to retract her bid, can't remember now if she had actually won the item or had just bid on it at the time. I told her if she'd emailed me about it, it would have been fine, but she was new too.
I haven't had anymore negs (up to now!) and am still at 99.8%.. I just wondered if you ever got back to 100% as I went to 99.6% at the time of the neg.
I have 539 feedback from buying and selling.
Not a major problem, just wondering really.

im not sure exactly how ebay do it. but the maths will tell you that you need to get to 99.96% to get back to 100%. (or maybe 99.951%?)
cant be bothered to work it out but its a large number!Get some gorm.0

Depends how they round the numbers. I suppose eventually it would be so negligable you would go back to 100%. Though I'm just trying to apply logic, and well, this is ebay...
I'm sure someone must know for sure.0

You can get your buyer to retract their feedback. Type in "retract feedback" in ebay help. This will bring you to a mutual retraction feedback form, follow the instructions and ebay will send an email to your buyer asking if they will agree to retract their feedback. Once this is agreed neither of you can leave feedback for each other but you should be back to 100%.

            2000 odd positives wipe out 1 neg0

I suppose you could if you don't get any more negs. Get enough positives and the percentage of negs will be too small to count.
Not unless they keep you at 99.99% if you have a neg.
Personally, as a buyer I don't care about the percentage as it doesn't give you much to go on.
I look at the negs and comments as often the comments show the buyer didn't give the seller a chance to rectify something that went wrong.0

Just re-read your message, with it being a few years ago bid retraction may be too late.
 Good luck.

im at 99.9% with only ever having 1 neg showing over 12 months ago and a feedback of 860....work permit granted!0

Right thanks, that clears that up. As I said though, not really a problem, just wondered if it ever would go back up. I don't sell every day, but fairly regularly at the moment, but still may take me some time to get up to 1999 to gain it back!
I have to admit I do look at % of feedback, but also take into account the actual feedback responses as well as sometimes they can be mistakes or just people being niggly.
 cheers all0

It will only take one more idiot to knock you back down again. And according to some on here ebay is full of idiot buyers who give you a neg for no reason.
I believe it, even if only 5% of ebay buyers were like this you would get 5 negs in every 100 feedbacks. As you know from experience, this is just not true.
I looked at my ebay account earlier, just our of curiosity. I found time flies, I thought I stopped selling on ebay a years ago, but I actually stopped two years ago this month.
I also noticed I had over 3,500 positive feedbacks and only one neg. I always thought I had two negs but one was only a neutral.
The one neg I did get was an idiot who won the auction then left a neg with the comment "Don't send the item, I don't want it now"0
