Hello, I am selling my property and this is a question on the law society form:
Our roof is made of cement tiles that have been bonded with chrysotile white asbestos (tested positive for this on a sample of our roof tile). Do I answer yes to this question?
“Are you aware of any defects or hazards at the property that might lead to a fire or a structural failure? This could include for example, integrity of building materials used in construction of the property (eg asbestos, cladding), structural hazards (damaged roofs, balconies) or non-operative fire/smoke alarm systems).”

Agree with others - No for that question in relation to the roof tiles. There is a separate section about asbestos from memory.0
