Okay thanks. We have been divorced for years now but am only coming to terms with the intimidation as I consider myself quite a strong individual. He has made some poor decisions that affect our children as of late which created the problems as he doesn’t like being told he’s wrong.Should I write an email to him with the effect of
due to x and y, this amount is no longer affordable at the moment but I can pay x amount?I’m not scared of going to court I think he would come out quite poorly, just want to know if I could face small claims for that amount.0 -
Don't go into details with him just tell him as from next month you will only pay him £xx.
If he phones don't get into a conversation with him.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
miumius said:When I broached it previously about money he’s owing he argued the loan is separate from child maintenance and didnt want to conflate the two. He intimidates me so I left it at that till I could think about it.0

Should I say I’m entering a DMP in the hopes that information wont trigger some type of argument. I understand this is my choice in what I say but I appreciate your opinions and thank you for all the advice so far.0

Personally I would only tell him the minimum you can get away with, don't encourage him.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0
