Rent Charge Redemption certificate- how long to process?

Hi Everyone,
we are in the process of buying a house which is probate and we were expecting a quick turnaround (the process started in September). We’ve just been told that the Rent charge on the property of £9 a year has been paid off by the seller and they have asked for a redemption certificate. I can’t find any solid information online on how long this might take? Does anyone have any experience of how long it could be?

We had been hoping to move in before Christmas but that’s been and gone. I’ve had to push out nursery start dates twice already and I’ve just done it again this week until February as I have a feeling we will be waiting a while. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
